1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how the “Vital Guard Pharma Accounting Bot” (“the App”), operated by Vital Guard Pharma (“we,” “us”), handles data. The App is an internal accounting tool used only by authorized Vital Guard Pharma personnel.

2. Data We Access

With your authorization, the App connects to your financial accounts through Plaid, Inc. on a READ-ONLY basis. Through Plaid, the App may access account information such as account and routing details, balances, and transaction history. The App does not initiate payments, transfers, or any changes to your financial accounts.

3. How We Use Data

Accessed data is used solely to generate internal accounting summaries, reports, and notifications (for example, a daily summary of deposits and payments received) for authorized Vital Guard Pharma staff. We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

4. Data Storage & Security

Access tokens and configuration are stored locally on a secured, access-restricted company system with file permissions limited to the operating user, and with storage encrypted at rest. Data in transit is protected using TLS. We do not sell, rent, or share accessed data with any third party. Data is not transmitted to external services except Plaid and the secured internal notification channel used by authorized staff.

5. Data Retention

The App retains only the minimal state needed to operate (such as the last-processed timestamp and access tokens) and lightweight summaries. You may revoke the App’s access to your financial data at any time, which invalidates the associated tokens.

6. Third Parties

The App uses Plaid, Inc. to connect to your financial institution. Your use of Plaid is governed by Plaid’s own privacy policy, available at https://plaid.com/legal/#end-user-privacy-policy. By using the App, you also agree to Plaid’s End User Privacy Policy.

7. Children

The App is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date reflects the latest version.
